Great Lakes hosted International Research Conference

Great Lakes Institute of Management recently hosted 6th International Research Conference on Dec 28th & 29th.

 

Great Lakes believes that research is one of the fundamental methods to achieve the basic objective of providing world-class management education, for which it has established tie-ups with eminent universities of international repute.

One such initiative is Yale-Great Lakes Center for Management Research, started in partnership with Yale University, USA in 2005. As part of this initiative, the Indian management institute has been organizing annual international research conference since 2006, in which illustrious scholars from leading institutions in India and abroad participate.

In this sixth international research conference this year, 18 papers were for presented and 10 new research proposal had been submitted.

Distinguished speakers like Bala V. Balachandran, Northwestern University, H. Fenwick Huss, Georgia State University and Vasanthi Srinivasan, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore were part the 6th international conference as resource persons.

Congratulating all the participants for enthusiastically taking part in the 6th International Research Conference, Prof Venkat Krishnan, Director, Yale-Great Lakes Center for Management Research reiterated that Yale-Great Lakes Center for Management Research  center will be a bridge that links scholars around the globe with India as a common interest.
