Dr. Kamlesh Joshipura to be 1st VC of Teachers University

Former vice chancellor of Saurashtra University, Dr Kamlesh Joshipura, has been appointed as the first vice chancellor of Indian Institute of Teachers' Education, better known as Teachers' University.
   
The institute was set up two years ago, and started functioning last year.
  
 "It's a great responsibility and my focus will be to get national and international recognition for the institute," Joshipura said.
