ICWAI gets new President

New Delhi: GN Venkataraman is elected new President of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI).

ICWAI is the India's premier professional management accounting institute linked to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

The election for the post has been held in Kolkata, today.

BM Sharma will be the new Vice President of the Institute.

Recently, ICWAI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tally Solutions, India's leading ERP software major.

According to the MoU, TSPL would provide training material for a 60 hour Practical IT & Related Applications for the "Certificate in Accounting Technicians" (CAT) Programme in the first phase.

The 60-hours computer training would be a pre-requisite for every student's eligibility to the Competency Level of the CAT programme.
