Show-cause notice to 752 nursery schools in TN

Show cause notices have been issued to 752 ‘unrecognized’ nursery schools in Tamil Nadu, Education Department officials said.

During an inspection it was found that nine schools in Erode district were functioning in violaton of Tamil Nadu Government Education Department Rules and Regulations and yet to get recognition certificate.
 
If they do not fulfil the norms, the schools would be closed permanently, the officials said and appealed to parents to admit their wards only in recognised institutions.
