Two-day workshop on welding technology & inspection

IWS Chennai centre and Dept of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Madras are jointly organizing a two-day workshop in Tamil on welding technology & inspection.

The Indian Welding Society (Chennai centre) in association with Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering [MME], IIT Madras is organizing  one-day  workshop on WELDING TECHNOLOGY AND INSPECTION (IN TAMIL) on January 6th and 7th January 2012.

A unique event wherein experts working in this field will share their experience with the participants in tamil.

The topics covered include conventional and advanced welding processes / technologies used  in various industries, welding metallurgy, Defects and remedies, selection of consumables, testing and quality control of welds by conventional and advanced tools and safety issues.

Practical demonstartion of various welding processes will be conducted as a part of the programme.
