Education Research Development Centre ( ERDC), a joint collaboration of Blind People's Association (BPA) and Ahmedabad Education Society (AES), was inaugurated on Monday afternoon by Swami Rambhadracharya in presence of trustees and supporters of BPA. The swami is a visually-impaired monk who established a university for the differently-abled in Chitrakoot. The centre houses a physiotherapy school, industrial training centre and distance education centre and an exhibition of goods used by the differently-abled over the years

Swami encouraged BPA students to develop new technology for the betterment of the visually-challenged community. "We are not blind but specially-abled. We can do what normal people cannot dream," he said.
