Retirement age of teachers increased in Bihar

Bihar government approved the retirement age of teachers of colleges and universities from the present 62 years to 65 years.
     
The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting presided over by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Principal Secretary (Cabinet Coordination and Secretariat) Ravikant told reporters.
     
The new retirment age will come into effect with effect from from June 30, 2010, he said.
