Students protest against fee hike

Ten students were taken into police custody after they tried to force their way into the Rohilkhand University campus where Governor B L Joshi was to address a convocation ceremony.
 
Police said the students were detained after they tried to meet the Governor to complain about the fee hike by the varsity administration.
 
"Police had to use mild force to stop the sloganeering students," IGP, Bareilly, R P Singh said.
