Board of Intermediate Education relief for students

Updated on: Wednesday, November 30, 2011

Students who have not cleared Intermediate public examination even five years after they completed the course will be allowed to give it another try this year.

The Board of Intermediate Education had earlier prescribed a block period of five years to complete the course.

This relaxation will be applicable only for this year for candidates who had joined Inter colleges during or prior to the academic year 2006-07. The students will be allowed to clear just the papers they have not cleared so far, BIE officials said in a release.
