Tamil University to start exchange programme

Chennai: The Tamil University at Thanjavur is going to initiate an exchange programme from this year for students of language universities in India.

This was announced by M. Rajendran, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil University.

The decision has been taken in a Senate meeting held recently.

Once the decision was confirmed by the University authorities and the vice-chancellors of other universities accept the proposal, students of the three-year Ph.D. programmes in the different language universities could participate in the exchange programme.
