State-run telecom operator BSNL has launched its online education service 'Topper Education' in partnership with Greycell 18 for its landline broadband customers.
Using this service, BSNL subscribers can access education resources from a comprehensive library of video lessons covering the entire curriculum, online tests with assessment tools and study material, BSNL said in a statement.
This will help students do their home work and prepare them for the exams, it added.
The video lessons are delivered by the finest faculty integrating conventional teaching tools with 3D graphics, real life examples to make understanding of concepts easier and effective for the students, BSNL said.
BSNL offers broadband services with plans for as low as Rs 99 per month in rural areas and Rs 250 per month in urban areas.
Apart from plain vanilla broadband, it offers variety of value added services (VAS) like music and video on demand, games on demand, voice and video over broadband etc.
Under the new service, education content for Mathematics and Science curricula of Class 9-12 of CBSE, ICSE and other boards will be made available.
The service will be offered at subscription price of Rs 150 per month per class and there will be no separate data download charges. As a special introductory offer, BSNL is offering free 15 days trial of service.
