Teachers to pass eligibility test within 5 years

Teachers belonging to primary and high schools have been granted a grace peroid of 5 years to complete their eligibility test.

Recently, the Tamilnadu government announced new regulations on recruitment of primary and high school teachers. Accordingly, teachers who were appointed after 01-04-2010, should pass eligibility test which is conducted by TRB within 5 years.

This eligibility test will be conducted seperately for primary and high school teachers. One should secure 90 marks out of 150 marks in this test.

In future, teachers appointment will be only based on the eligibility test.
