New policy on higher education :Karnataka

Bangalore:  Karnataka government today set up Karnataka State Council for Higher Education to suggest a new policy on higher education and to guide universities.

The 41-member council would be headed by Minister for Higher Education Aravind Limbavali, an official release said here.

Vice Chancellors of various universities in the state would be the members of the council, besides experts in the field, it said.
