Aussies Schools sign MoU with few Indian schools

A leading educational body representing premier schools in Australia entered into an understanding with some schools in India to help them deliver quality education and become centres of excellence.

The Association of Independent Schools (AIS), New South Wales, Australia, signed the MoU with the schools at a function here providing their expertise to Indian schools in professional learning, leadership development, teacher accreditation and appraisal.
  
"As part of the global education community, it is our job to share the best possible practices in teaching and educational leadership and the partnership with Indian schools will have a positive impact on their teaching and learning," AIS Executive Director Geoff Newcombe said.
  
The schools in India which would benefit from this partnership are Samhita Academy in Bangalore, Saraswathy Vidyalaya in Thiruvananthapuram, Vibgyor High School in Mumbai, Suncity World School in Gurgaon and H C Auxilium in Delhi.
  
AIS has 350 member schools representing about 1.35 lakh students.
