The third edition of the annual XSEED School of Tomorrow' Conference 2011, witnessed pioneer educationists share a common platform to stress the need to improve quality in education through investments in better teaching methods and processes.

With the theme of "Education beyond Boundaries", the conference had over 1500 school heads and business leaders across New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad participating in it.

"The time for quality in school education has come. Parents, employers and government are demanding quality outcomes from schools; students who can demonstrate deep grasp of concepts, better communication, and an overall confidence that is visible immediately. Such an education is now in the reach of every school irrespective of its access to resources. Our own, on-the-ground experience of working with over 700 schools across the country has shown that the key to quality is a superior learning method that emphasizes experimentation, questioning and feedback supported by tools, training and assessment - not expensive hardware or infrastructure”, said Ashish Rajpal, Founder & Managing Director iDiscoveri.

Prof. Alison Gopnik, author of books on child psychology and a renowned researcher in the field of childrens learning from the University of California, delivered a thought provoking key note address on cognitive abilities of children and highlighted the need of uninhibited exploration, experimentation and reasoning in the education space.

The conference in each city featured a panel of educationists, business and thoughtful leaders who are determined to revolutionise classroom teaching in the country.
