Students from Quetta University win mock court tournament

A team from the Quetta University has won the top prize at a mock court tournament in New Delhi that was judged by justices from India and Pakistan.
 
The Quetta University team comprising Ayesha Bibi, Asmatullah Kakar and Arbab Muhammad Amjad bagged the best team
trophy and a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
 
The competition over the weekend was co-hosted by the National Law University and Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation.
 
The panel that judged the final round included Justice S K Kaul of the Delhi High Court, Justice (retired) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday of Pakistan's Supreme Court general and senior counsel Talib Rizvi of Pakistan.
 
Twenty-six Indian advocates and seven from Pakistan served as judges for different rounds of the competition. 

The Lahore Bar Association announced that it would present a cash award to the best team and the runners-up.
