The British Council will conduct an Education Exhibition in Kochi on November 17, which is aimed at giving “direct access to information on studying for undergraduate, postgraduate or research degrees and also on student life and culture in the U.K.”

Representatives from more than 25 U.K. institutions will be present to guide students and visitors at the exhibition, which is being held at The Center Hotel, Avenue Center Building, Panampilly Nagar.

“British Council's Education UK exhibitions are a one-stop-shop where all queries about studying and living in the U.K. are answered,” said a release.

The U.K. Border Agency will conduct a seminar on applying for a student visa at the event.

A U.K. visa officer will answer questions about student visas at the agency stall as well. Academics from U.K. institutions will take part in seminars on subjects such as IT and engineering, law and business management. Information can also be had on scholarships that are available.

Entry to the exhibition, open from 12 noon to 7 p.m., is free for students. To register online and get related information, log on to the website www.educationuk-in.org.
