Veterinary counselling begins

Chennai: Counselling for admission to veterinary science courses in the State began at the Veterinary College, Vepery on Monday.

Speaking at the programme, Pongalur N.Palanisamy, Minister for Rural Industries and Animal Husbandry said the counselling would be held for B.Sc Veterinary Science for 226 seats of which 34 would be allocated for Veterinary Council of India and the University would conduct the counselling for the remaining 192 seats.

Similarly, 35 seats would be available for the B.Sc Fisheries Science course, out of which 5 seats would be set-aside for Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
