University of Glasgow, Scotland, signed an agreement with University of Calcutta today to work together and increase collaboration.

The MoU was signed with by Glasgow University Principal and Chancellor Prof Anton and Calcutta University Vice-chancellor Suranjan Das. The agreement focuses on collaboration in arts research and a fellowship for a staff member or post graduate student to undertake masters study in museum studies at Glasgow in 2012.

It aims at working specifically on Glasgow University special collections for curating an exhibition scheduled in 2014, with the timing potentially to be linked with Commonwealth Games.
