Chennai varsity Professor heads Asian Prostodontic Academy

T V Padmanabhan, Professor and Head of Department of prosthodontics at Sri Ramachandra University here, has become the President of Asian Prosthodontic Academy.  

Padmanabhan is the first Indian to hold this prestigious post and took over the assignment at the 7th Biennial conference of the Academy held in Shanghai in China on October 30, the University said in a press release.
  
He is the immediate Past President of the Indian Prosphodontic Society and has significantly contributed to improving the quality of dental care in the country, it said.
