Students complain against ragging

Women students of Burdwan University here have complained against their seniors for allegedly torturing them mentally and physically in the name of ragging, officials said today.
 
Aloka Mishra, a first semester MA student, complained that some third semester students in the University's hostel had been torturing them for the past three or four days.
 
She has also been hospitalised after the incident.
 
Officials said two other girls had left the hostel recently after being ragged regularly.
 
The university has set a disciplinary committee to investigate the case after the incident was reported.
