Anna Varsity to take action against Engineering college

Chennai: Following students complaint about the faculty and infrastructure in the college, the Principal of Madha Engineering College has been summoned.

Dr. P. Mannar Jawahar, Vice-Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai, said a group of students from the college came to him on saturday afternoon complaining about excess fees collected by the institution.
He pointed out that they could call 044-28440961 to lodge complaints and asked them if they had specific complaints relating to faculty and infrastructure.

He called up the Principal and sought an explanation, when they complained about these issues. He summoned the Principal to his office on Monday. Dr. Jawahar said action would be taken if the college had failed to meet faculty or infrastructure requirements.

He also said that the college students had complained about some minor issues relating to faculty two months ago. He gave directions to the Principal, which had been complied with.
