Rohtak: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) will introduce MBA and BBA (Industry integrated) courses from the current academic session (2009-2010) in collaboration with National Institute of Applied Management (NIAM) Educational Foundation. A MoU to this effect was signed by MDU and NIAM on July 8.
MDU Registrar Dr. S.P. Vats and General Secretary of NIAM Rajiv Mehta signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. The MoU was signed in presence of MDU Dean, Academic Affairs Prof. Surender Kumar.
Prof Surender Kumar informed that the BBA and MBA (Industry integrated) course would be unique course with practical exposure to industrial/ corporate sector. Notably, NIAM has tie-up with about 1500 leading companies in retail, insurance, financial services, IT, FMCG, Automobile,Banking, services sector, etc. The students in these courses would be trained as per corporate requirements. Further, soft skills training will form an integral part of the course
