Vivekananda Study Centre at a city college

In order to introduce the teachings of Swami Vivekananda to students, a study centre is being inaugurated in a city college here.
 
The objectives include to display a photo gallery depicting the life and message of Vivekananda and set up a library containing books and CDs, a Kumaraguru College of Technology release said.
 
Besides procuring and selling books on Vivekananda to students and faculty, the center would organise personality development workshops and weekly discussion sessions.
 
The center would take efforts to develop and provide short courses on Vivekananda and channelise youth energy towards national building, by interacting with different Vivekananda study centres across the world, it said.
 
The center will be inaugurated by N Mahalingam, Chairman, Sakthi Group on November two, the release said.
