Law students of the north east should evolve a vision through which the unique culture and biodiversity of the region would be protected and justice implemented right at the panchayat level, said former president A P J Abdul Kalam.

"Legal mechanism should be designed specifically for the north east and suitable modifications should be made in this regard so that justice is ensured," he said addressing students of National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam, here.

Urging the legal community to ensure that all citizens get their due legal rights without delay, he called upon law students of the north east to use their vision to ensure dignity of human life without any bias.
