70pc attendance registered for APPSC group-II exam

Over 70 per cent candidates attended the two-day Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group-II examinations, held in East Godavari district, which concluded.
   
East Godavari district collector M Ravichandra said 70.31 per cent attendance was recorded for the two-day Group-II examinations in 81 centres, set up in Kakinada and Rajahmundry pisions.
   
While 11,875 candidates wrote the exams Oct 15, 11,638 candidates appeared for it Oct 16, he said, adding that the exams went off peacefully.
