Deadline for distance learning admission in DU extended

Students who have been unable to secure admissions into Delhi University's distance learning programme now have time till October 3 to get themselves registered as the institution has extended its date of taking admissions by another three days.
 
The admission for undergraduate courses in the School of Open Learning was earlier scheduled to end on September 30 but the institution said the date has been extended as banks will remain closed to the public on Friday.
 
The SOL said in a statement that students now have time till Monday to secure admission, asking them to complete the process at the earliest. Many students who failed to get into the colleges of Delhi University in regular courses turn to distance learning programme to make sure they do not lose a year. The admissions will be taken with a late fee of Rs 200.
