B.Ed. application to be issued from Aug 4

Application forms for B.Ed course in various colleges across the state would be issued from Aug 4 to Aug 13 through 13 centres.

According to Tamilnadu government sources, the application forms would be issued to get admission into Institutes of Advanced study in eduction, Government, government aided colleges and self-financing colleges.

At present, 7 government B.Ed colleges including 2 Institutes of advanced in education and 6 government aided colleges are functioning in the state.

Totally, 50 percentage of seats in self-financing colleges would be filled through merit based single window counselling.

Details of counselling procedure would be announced later.

Application forms are available at the following centres:

1. Institute of advanced study in education - Saidapet, Chennai

2. Wellington Seematti institute of advanced study in education - Triplicane, Chennai

3. Government college of education - Kumarapalayam, Namakkal district.

4. Government college of education - Orathanadu, Tanjore district.

5. Government college of education - Pudukkottai

6. Government college of education - Coimbatore

7. Government college of education - Gandhi nagar, Vellore

8. Lakshmi college of education - Ambaththurai, Gandhigramam

9. NVKSD college of education - Aththoor, Thiruvattaar, Kanyakumari district.

10. Sri Sarada college of education - Salem

11. St. Ignatious college of education - Palaynkottai

12. Thiyagarasar preceptor college - Madurai

13. VOC college of education - Tuticorin
