Hindu College has put its ECA and sports admissions on hold following a series of complaints questioning the fairness of trials.
"Due to certain complaints, which are under investigation, the college is unable to finalize the admission list for sports/ECA category for 2011-2012. Any progress in this matter will be duly notified," the college posted on its website.
Hindu College governing body had, in fact, abolished the sports and ECA category before admissions began this year.
According to the college, several complaints last year had led the GB to take such a decision. However, it was revoked on 'popular demand.'
