On the third last day of BEd counselling on Monday, 7,500 BEd seats were locked by candidates at various counselling centres across the state. Now only 13,000 seats (approx) are left to be filled in the next two days. The counselling would end on July 27.
The counselling staff at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University says either no seat or very limited seats will remain by the time counselling concludes on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a huge rush of BEd candidates was witnessed at the five counselling centres in the city by the authorities of the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohelkhand University, Bareilly which is conducting the BEd counselling. However, a number of students are also not turning up for participating in the counselling despite paying the counselling fee of Rs 500.
