Saurashtra University cancels admission to B Ed course

Following the notice received by the Scheduled Caste Commission, Saurashtra University has decided to cancel B Ed admission for the academic year 2011-12 and to re-conduct the admission process.
 
"The commission had asked the Saurashtra University Vice Chancellor Kamlesh Joshipur to cancel latest admission list for B Ed course and failing which the commission would summon the varsity to New Delhi," exam controller and acting registrar of Saurashtra University J M Mamtora said.
 
However, following the instruction of the commission the Saurashtra University has decided to cancel the admissions and to re-conduct it again, he said.
 
Applications of nearly 5000 students will now have to be reprocessed.
