Few takers for BA at Lucknow University

As many as 123 BA seats remained vacant in open category till Monday in the ongoing BA counselling at LU. The university has 750 seats in BA for open category. The counselling began on July 9. Maximum 70 seats are vacant in Asian culture.

Besides, 20 seats remained unfilled in Urdu, 13 in French, 18 in Arab culture, 35 in Arabic, 15 in jyotirvigyan, 25 in Persian, 21 in home science, 15 in physical education, 36 in travel and tourism, 34 in rural development and social work. The counselling for SC/ST is scheduled on July 12 and SC/ST wait-listed on July 13. The counselling of OBC candidates will be held on July 14 while that of OBC waiting category will be held on July 15.
