TN Engineering Counselling begins

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions ( TNEA-2011) through single window counselling for admission into engineering colleges affiliated to Anna university  commences today, 30th June.

Today, applicants under the sports quota sit for engineering counselling. A total of 3457 applicants come under the Special Reservation Category - sports Quota.
 
Parents and the students started thronging the venue since early morning. With dreams so high, students seemed to be happy.
 
The counselling had a good start sharp at 9:00 AM. Applicants gathered in the venue by almost before 8:00 AM.
 
Counselling will take place in the Anna University-Chennai campus for all those applicants who applied seeking admission into Government, Government aided, self-financing engineering colleges.

The counselling process would facilitate to allot 1 lakh 25,000 seats available in the various engineering collegesin Tamil Nadu.
