The Kerala government informed the high court that self-financing medical colleges had given admissions to students belonging to other states when thousands of meritorious candidates were awaiting admissions in the state.
A submission in this regard was made by Advocate General K P Dandapani when a petition filed by Christian Professional Colleges Management Federation came up for
hearing.
Justice Antony Dominic reserved his orders and the case will come up before the bench tomorrow.
The government also stated that the private managements have no right to make admission against the Medical Council of India and Supreme Court directions.
