TNEA counselling schedule based on "cut off

Rank list based on "cut-off" towards the admission of Engineering studies in Tamil Nadu Engineering colleges through Anna University was released on 24th June.

The counselling schedule has been released based on the “cut off” marks.

Details of Counselling schedule according to the category is furnished below:

1. Certificate verification for those students seeking admission under sports category will take place on 28th and 29th June.

2. Counselling for those applicants under sports category will take place on 30th June.

3. Counselling for the applicants under vocational stream will take place between July1st and 6th, for 6 days.

4. Differently abled candidates will sit for counselling on July 7th.

5. General counselling will commence on July 8th and last till August 11th.
Inpidual call letters are being sent to the candidates informing them about the counseling schedule.

Eligible candidates having applied and whose total marks are as specified or above can appear for counselling along with their original certificates for verification irrespective of the receipt of inpidual communication.

Candidates whose marks have been changed after re-totalling or revaluation may attend the counselling on the day and session according to their new marks.

Candidates have to pay an initial deposit of Rs.5,000/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to TamilNadu) at the time of counselling. Candidates are expected to be at the venue two hours before the commencement of counselling.
