Parents and students filling up their online admission forms to junior colleges were finally relieved after theeducation department activated the 'submit' option for students .
On Wednesday , the first day of the form filling process , many parents complained about not being able to submit their option forms as there was no 'submit' button .
"We had first decided to activate the 'submit' option for state board students only after they receivetheir original marksheets on June 27. However , we received a lot of calls from worried parents and decided to activate the option for everybody ," said an official from the office of the deputy director of education . Students and parents showed up in huge numbers at their respective schools on Thursday to fill the online forms . "Everybody is scared to fill the form on their own , fearing that their form might get disqualified altogether . Our teachers and technicians are helping students fill forms throughout the day ," said a school principal .
She also added that many students come to schools to fill up forms without reading the admission booklets at all , making it more difficult for school officials to explain the procedure to them .
By the end of the second day of the online process , close to 85,339 application forms got approved and 2,265 option forms also got approved .
