On the second day of counselling of Allahabad University undergraduate courses, 123 students were given admission in various combinations of BSc mathematics.
After the second day counselling, seats in some subjects like computer science and statistics, zoology (general candidates) have been filled up, said UGAT director Prof BN Singh. Combining the two days of counselling, a total of 245 students were given admission.
Singh said students having 160 and above marks, from all categories, have been called for BSc (Bio) admission on June 22. The eligibility criteria include BSc (Bio), BSc (Bio plus home science) or BSc (Bio plus applied science). Admission will be done on the basis of merit and subject to the availability of seats. The reporting time is from 9am to 11.30am at Pravesh Bhawan and counselling will be done from 1pm onwards.
Meanwhile, the Nehru Gram Bharati University has declared the result of entrance exam for admission in BEd. The university has provided the detailed result on its website: www.ngbu.edu.in, said additional registrar DP Dixit.
