Counselling begins in Tamilnadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore

Counselling for admission into undergraduation courses in TamilNadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore set a beginning today. Counselling will continue for the next four days. In all these five days of counselling, a total of 1837 students will take participate.
 
Agriculture, Horticulture,Sericulture,Forestry and Home Science are some of the under graduation courses offered in the the Tamilnadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore.
 
Food Processing Engineering, BioTechnology, Horticulture, Energy and Environment Engineering, Bio Informatics, Agriculture Information Technology, Agriculture Management are some of the under graduation technological courses offered.
 
All the applicants to the TN Agriculture University- Coimabatore were given random numbers on last 13th ( May 13th). Following which the rank list was published. Based on this, the counselling has begun. Counselling processes are carried on in the University's Anna Hall. The counselling would take place till 25th of June.
 
Counselling based on "cut-off" : Some 153 students with "cut- off" between 199.00 and 192.75 were called for counselling 9.30 this morning. After 1.30 in the noon students with "cut- off" between 192.50 and 190.00 were called for interview. Students with "cut- off" between 189.75 -188.00 ,187.75 and 186.00 will sit for tomorrows counselling.
 
The call letters to all students who are eligible to take part in the counselling has been despatched. All those who are selected for the counselling shall get to know about their "cut off" details from the agricultural university website. (http://www.tnau.ac.in/ ).
 
Those students who did not get their call letters would also take part in the counselling. They shall get the details regarding the cut off marks from the university's website and come for counselling accordingly.
 
Bring with you all these documents : The students are expected to bring with them the original mark statements of Class 10 and Class 12. Along with the marksheet counselling fee, a sum of Rs.2000 should also be brought. It could also be paid in DD favouring The Dean ( Agriculture ), said the Principal of Agriculture University, Mr.Rajarajan.
