The US-India Educational Foundation has announced the opening of its annual competition for Fulbright-Nehru and other Fulbright fellowship opportunities for study, research, teaching and professional development in the US.
Exemplary Indian students, academics, teachers, policy planners, administrators and professionals in all disciplines can apply, an American embassy statement said.
There has been a significant increase in the number of scholarships awarded each year after India-US bilateral Fulbright agreement.
USIEF expects to offer approximately 120 Fulbright-Nehru fellowships for Indians in 2012.
