TNAU invites applications for admission to various courses

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, has invited applications for admission to masters programmes, Ph. D. programmes and postgraduate diploma programmes in capital and commodity markets and organic agriculture.

TNAU is also offering a dual-degree masters programmes in food processing and marketing and biotechnology and business management jointly with Cornell University, U.S.

The students admitted for masters programme have the option of pursuing the degree - MPS (Master of Professional Studies) - in Food Science and Plant Breeding at Cornell University. The programmes are being offered at the university as well as its constituent colleges in Coimbatore, Madurai and Mettupalayam, according to C. Udayasoorian, Dean of the School of Post Graduate Studies.

Applications can be downloaded from the website www.tnau.ac.in. Candidates have to register, fill in and submit the applications online.
 
A printout of the filled-in applications should be sent along with all enclosures and application fee (Demand Draft for Rs.850 for each subject, Rs.425 for SC/ST candidates) to the Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - 641003. The last date for receipt of filled in applications and online registration for PG diploma and PG courses is June 25 and for Ph. D. programmes, July 30.
