bitspilani Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani invites Applications to apply for its full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes in the below mentioned disciplines at Hyderabad, Goa and Pilani campuses for the academic session 2017.

Full time: Students will have to devote their full time towards PhD.

Part time students: Those working in organisations situated in close vicinity of campuses of BITS Pilani will be eligible.

Eligibility criteria for BITS Pilani PhD Admission :

Educational qualification for BITS Pilani PhD Admission:

Aspirants wish to apply for PhD must have pursued ME/MPharm/MBA/MPhil of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate in the qualifying examination
Those with an MSc/BE/BPharm or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate may also be considered for PhD admission subject to their suitability and competence.
PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences: Aspirants wish to apply for this programme must have pursued MA with minimum of 55 per cent aggregate.

Selection procedure for BITS Pilani PhD Admission:

Aspirants will be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview.

Aspirants need to apply at the official website www.bits-pilani.ac.in

Important dates for BITS Pilani PhD Admission :

The last date for completed application form to reach admission office is December 14.

The names of the aspirants (through BITS website) will be released on December 12.

Test and interview will be conducted on January 4, 2017.
