National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad invites applications for its Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) programmes, offered in various disciplines, at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bangalore campuses for the academic session 2017-18.

Eligibility criteria for NID Ahmedabad Admission

Educational qualification for NID Ahmedabad Admission:

BDes programme:Aspirants wish to apply for this programme should have passed or should be appearing for qualifying examinations, under the higher secondary (class 12) or equivalents like AISSCE/ IB/ ISC, during the academic year 2017.

MDes programme: Aspirants for this course should have successfully passed any one of the following qualifying exams in 2016:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline under the 10 plus 2 plus 3 system, from any university or institute recognised (by law) in India, with one year of experience or further academic qualifications
Diploma in design under the 10 plus 2 plus 4 system, from any university or institute recognised (by law) in India

Selection procedure for NID Ahmedabad Admission:

Aspirants will be selected on the basis their performance in the design aptitude test conducted by the institute.

Important dates for NID Ahmedabad Admission:

The last date for receiving a completed application form is November 28.

Design aptitude test will be conducted on January 8, 2017.
