calcuttauniversity University of Calcutta (CU) - Kolkata invites Admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Philosophy offered at the Department of Philosophy for the academic session 2016.

Aspirants need to apply through prescribed format latest by November 3.

Educational qualification for University of Calcutta PhD Admission :

Aspirants wish to apply for this course need to have a Master's degree in Philosophy from a recognised institute/university.

Selection procedure for University of Calcutta PhD Admission:

Aspirants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and interview conducted by the institute.

Aspirants who have already passed UGC/ CSIR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) examinations/ National Eligibility Test (NET)/ SET/SLET/MPhil (Philosophy)/Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations need not appear at the written examination.
