IIA Bangalore invites Application for PhD Admission

Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA)-Bangalore invites Application for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme offered jointly with Pondicherry Central University and Integrated MTech- PhD offered jointly with University of Calcutta for the academic session 2017.

Aspirants are requested to apply through prescribed format latest by October 28.

Eligibility criteria for IIA Bangalore Admission:

Educational qualification for IIA Bangalore Admission :

Aspirants wish to take admission need to have a degree in Master of Science (MSc) (Physics) / Integrated MSc (Physics) / Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/ BTech/ ME/ MTech with 55 per cent in aggregate from a recognised university/institute.

Selection procedure for IIA Bangalore Admission:

Selection of Aspirants will be based on the performance in their IIA Screening Test (IIAST)conducted by the institute.

Aspirants short listed based on their performance in the IIAST will be called for personal interview round.
