AIIMS ( All India Institute of Medical Sciences ) , New Delhi invites Applications for its MD Programme Admission 2017

AIIMS All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi invites applications to apply for its Master of Chirurgical (MCh), Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes offered in various specialisations for the January 2017 session.

Duration of the course will be three-years.

Eligibility criteria for AIIMS Admission 2017 :

Educational qualification for AIIMS Admission 2017 :

MCh programme: Aspirants applying for this programme must be holding an MS degree in surgery of this institute or any other university or equivalent degree recognised by the MCI.

DM programme: Aspirants applying for this programme should have pursued MD in medicine in relevant field of this institute or any other university or equivalent degree recognised by the MCI.

MD programme: Students wish to apply for this programme should have pursued MBBS or an equivalent degree with a minimum experience of three-years in a hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice.

Selection procedure for AIIMS Admission 2017 :

Aspirants will be selected on the following basis :

Written test carrying 80 marks to be attempted within 90 minutes of duration in the subject the student has applied for. The test question paper will consist of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Out of the candidates, who are 50th percentile or above in the written test, students will be called for departmental clinical/practical/ lab based assessment

Final selection for Admission will be based on total marks obtained in both the Exams.
