Medical & Dental PG Programmes

AMRITA School of Medicine & School of Dentistry under Amrita vishva Vidyapeetham University issued notification for Admission procedures for the academic year 2015 for the courses in Medical and Dental PG programs.

The University seekds application from the eligible candidates for various courses.

MD Clinical courses is meant for the branches of Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicines, General Medicines, Geriatrics, Nuclear Medicines, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine & Retaliation, Psychiatry, Radio Diagnosis and Radio Therapy.

The MD-Non clinical courses involve the branches Anatomy, Bio chemistry, Community Meidicine, Physiology and Pathology.

The MDS courses are meant for the branches conservative Dentistry &  Endodentrics Oral and Maxilla facial surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology and Micro biology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Perindentology, Prosthodontrics & Crown & Bridge, Public Health Denstistry.

The MS courses are meant for the branches

General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Otorhiro laryngologist , (ENT) and Orthopaedics.

The Diploma courses are for the branches

Anesthesiology (DA), Child Health (DCH), Dermatology, Venerology & Le3prosy (DDVL), Meidcal Radio Diagonosis (DMM), Obsterics & Gynaecology (DGO)_, Opthalmology (DO), Orthopaedics (D Ortho), Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (DPMM) and Psychological Medicine (DPM)

For MD/MS/ Diploma

The aspiring candidates should have passed MBBS for recognized Medical called by Medical council of India and they should have cleared their UG within 3 attempts.  They should have get registration either from Medical Council of India or any of the State medical Councils.

For MDS course, the aspiring candidates, should have passed in BDS from a Dental College recognized by Dental Councils of India.

The candidates, who are likely to get there internship by 30.04.2015 can also apply.

The online registration will be from 02.01.2015 and the last date of registration is 28.02.2015. the examinations for MDS will be conducted on 07.03.2015 and further of MD / MS / Diploma will be on 08.03.2015 at Amrita School of Medicine, Punekkara, Kochi, Kerala.  The registration must be done in online through www.amrita.edu / health science.
