MBBS / BDS Counselling for special categories

The first day of counseling for 44 MBBS/BDS seats of various special categories completed on Tuesday. 80 disabled candidates were called for counseling and out of which. 39 were given seats, two out of three seats allotted for Ex-service were also finalized. Medical Education Directorate informed that 2 MBBS seats were filled and one BDS seat was vacant still. According to the scores, some candidates will lower marks were also filled.

Regarding sports category seats were concerned, 6 candidates were called and all the 3 seats were taken by 3 top rankers.

Stanley Medical College had received permission to add 100 MBBS seats. So, Stanley Medical College can admit 250 candidates like last year.

The counseling for general stream begins on Wednesday. The I phase completes before June 25.
