Admission to Commerce and Economics still open in some colleges after release of 10th list by DU

In North Campus, Hansraj has reopened admissions for zoology, Daulat Ram for botany and Hindu for mathematics and statistics. SGND Khalsa has reopened admissions in both commerce and economics; and general category seats are still available in history, philosophy and political science in Gargi. The cutoffs for Gargi don't feature on the list released by DU. At Ramjas, admissions are open for history, chemistry, botany and zoology.

College authorities say reopening of admissions in science subjects is most likely related to ongoing engineering counselling. Commerce may be losing students to engineering.
