Counselling for admission to B.Tech. programmes (2013-2017) in Amrita University is scheduled from 5th to 14th June 2013.

Call letters to eligible canditates have been dispatched upto 9000 ranks. On the first day, SC/ST category would be called for counselling.

Based on the rank in the Amrita Entrance Examination, about 2000 students who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted in the three campuses of the University at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore.

During the online counselling process, the candidates will exercise their choice for various engineering disciplines like Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics., Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation and Mechanical. Simultaneously, counselling takes place in the three campuses of the University, so a candidate can attend the counselling at any one of the three campuses.

Amritha also offers a scholarship programme (Amrita Vidyanidhi) to support the students who join with high ranks in the Amrita Entrance Examination. More than 300 students in various disciplines will be benefited by this scheme, getting a tuition fee waiver of Rs.50,000/- every year. Rs. 1.5 Crores is earmarked this year for giving Scholarship to the first year students.

Candidates rank and seat availability will be displayed in the counselling Hall. Everyday, the university also updates its official website (www.amrita.edu) regarding the progress of the counselling.
