Admission to Para-medical courses witness 14450 applications

Totally, 14,450 applications have poured in for admission to Para- medical studies in Govt, Medical Colleges and Private Medical colleges under govt. allotted quota.

Issuing of application forms for admission to Para-medical courses like B.Sc Nursing, B.PT, B.Pharm in Govt. Medical Colleges and Private Medical colleges under govt. allotted quota began on June 4.

Applications were available in all the Govt. Medical colleges until June 13 with the last date for submission of filled application fixed as June 18.

Briefing regarding this, Sukumar, Secretary and Additional Director of Medical Education told totally 22,000 applications were printed, out of which 17,200 applications were sold. Among the sold applications, 14,450 applications have been submitted. After the completion of counselling for Medical studies, counselling for Para-Medical Studies would begin, he told.
